FW AID

The Frontier Women Alliance for Inclusive Development is proud that our Executive Director served as Guest of Honour and Opening Keynote Speaker at the IWDC 2026 International Women’s Day Conference. With over 170 participants from across the globe, the conference explored the powerful theme: “Remap. Rebuild. Rise: Women Shaping Power, Policy & the Future.” As a Gender and Inclusion Expert, she highlighted the critical gaps between policy and implementation while sharing FWAID’s inspiring journey of impact.

After a 15-year gap in women-led safe spaces in Hazara, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FWAID has emerged as one of the fastest-moving catalysts for systemic change. Through mentorship, psychosocial support, culturally aligned workspaces, assistive devices, and grassroots leadership, we have empowered more than 5000 women and girls from marginalized communities — especially women with disabilities — to lead with confidence, innovate, and access their rights under frameworks like the CRPD and the ICT Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2020.

Let’s join hands to build a resilient and empowered community for women and girls! This global platform reinforced our belief that civil society can rapidly translate policies into lived realities. We remain committed to creating inclusive, dignified, and transformative opportunities for women and girls across Pakistan.
