AI is shaping our future, but its impact will be defined by the values we embed in it today. Building an inclusive digital future means ensuring that no one is left behind in the age of Artificial Intelligence.

ED FWAID Ms.Rabia Tahir was honored to participate in the UN Women Pakistan Gender-Responsive AI School Training of Trainers, organized by UN Women Pakistan in partnership with KOICA and the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, Pakistan. My sincere appreciation to Emad Karim for his outstanding facilitation and to Ms. Fahmida Khan for her leadership in advancing women’s empowerment and inclusive digital transformation in Pakistan.

As one of the first initiatives of its kind in Pakistan, the programme reaffirmed that gender-responsive AI is not about favouring one group over another—it is about ensuring that AI systems are fair, transparent, accountable, and responsive to the diverse experiences of all people, particularly women and girls, women with disabilities, and other historically excluded communities. AI must help close existing gaps, not deepen them.

At Frontier Women Alliance for Inclusive Development (FWAID), we are committed to translating these learnings into action by advancing AI literacy, ethical innovation, and digital inclusion, while strengthening the leadership and participation of women and girls in shaping an equitable digital future.
